On our recipe submission page we will no longer accept recipes that have already been listed on other websites unless they are significantly different. We have decided to do this in order to provide the most unique recipes will the least amount of duplicates. We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to contribute their favorite recipes to our site and we hope to see more submissions in the future.

We have improved barlowsrecipes.com yet again. We are now on a faster server so we can give you recipes faster than ever before. Check back soon for some new recipes.

The look of the site has changed. We have converted all the code for the site to be XHTML 1.0 strict. We have also utilized the capacities of CSS to clean the code up a little bit. We are interested to know what you think of the new design. Drop us a line and let us know what you think.

We finally decided to buy barlowsrecipes.com so it would be easier for everyone to remember the URL for this site. Check back soon for some Holiday Recipes!

If you are Vegan or Vegetarian we are elated to tell you that The Barlow's Recipes has a very large collection of Vegetarian and Vegan recipes on the site to help you with your special diet needs. We ourselves are either Vegan or Vegetarian (there are many of us Barlows) and that is probably why we have included the healthy Vegan and Vegetarian recipes that we have. We believe that to be healthy you should have a good diet which contains good natural food and exercise frequently. Thanks for your many recipe submissions during July!

We have now changed the URL for the site to http://recipes.netlobo.com. The old links will work just fine so you can continue to use old URLs too. Things will be changing quite a bit here at The Barlow's Recipes, so stick around.

We have moved to a new web host. If you tried to access the site in the past 2 weeks and had problems then this is why. We are sorry if this has caused any of you to go without food. Hopefully you were able to figure out how to cook your food without our recipes. We are now up and running on a faster server. Hopefully we don't give this new server too much exercise!

The "Submit a Recipe" page has changed slightly. You can now click on a link next to the "Recipe Groups" area that pops up a window that lists all the current recipe groups to make it easier to decide which groups your recipe or food falls under. We try to organize the groups so they seem as natural as possible.

We have added the ability to search the database of recipes now. The search functions as an exact phrase search currently which means that it matches the word or phrase you typed in against the recipe name, group, description, ingredients, or directions. For example if you searched for "diet" or "natural" then it would bring up any recipes that had the word "diet" or "natural" in them. If you have any suggestions to make the search better please let us know.
