Applesauce Cookies Recipe

"Great Applesauce cookies for snack and simple to make."

Ingredients:
3 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cloves
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups Applesauce
2 Cups Oatmeal
1 Pkg Chocolate Chips
Chopped nuts if desired

Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and applesauce. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Add oatmeal, chocolate chips, and nuts. Place regular sized spoonfulls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8 - 10 Min.
