"Love Pizza? I do too! ^.^ Here's another yummy recipe that's healthy, and low-fat too! *Just refrain from drooling* ^^; This pizza's super easy to make, and it doesn't take hard work, so you'll see how it got it's name. Plus, if you happen to be a pita buff like me ^^' Also, be sure to check out my ramen sandwich recipe!"
Ingredients:
4 loaves of Pita bread
Mozzarella cheese (low-fat or part skim milk)
Tomato sauce, or marinara sauce
Olive oil
Peppers (green, red, jalapeno)
Tomatoes (regular or sundried)
Oregano
Basil
Optional ingredients:
Pineapple (sliced or cubes)
Chicken
Directions:
Lay pita breads on plates and start to paste the edges of them with olive oil (a trick I learned from watching Emerill Live: ^^;(using olive oil will help give the pizza flavor, and a kick)
Then, spread some tomato or your favorite marinara sauce on the pita. Wash and cut up the vegetables, you can even use some of your favorite toppings, like pineapple, chicken pieces, or even use wacky toppings like gummy worms whatever ingredients you would like! ^^; Sprinkle some oregano, basil onto the pizza. Finally spread a layer of olive oil onto your frying pan. (So the pizza won't stick) ^^; Cook for about 20 mins, depending on how many people, serve, enjoy!
