Soft Pretzels Recipe

Wickless Candles

"This are just like the pretzels you would buy at the mall or carnival."

Ingredients:
3 pkg. yeast
3 3/4 cup warm water
3 pinches sugar
6 tsp. salt
12-15 cups flour
4 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
1. Knead 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and let rise until it doubles.

2. Make ropes 18 inches long and twist into pretzel shape.

3. Boil 4 cups water and 4 tsp. baking soda

4. Drop 3 pretzels in and boil 1 minute or until they float. Remove, drain, and place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with coarse salt.

5. Bake @ 475 degrees for 12 minutes.

*Note* These can be frozen. Reheat when room temp @ 200 degrees for a few minutes (or frozen @ 350 degrees for 5 minutes).
