Macaroni and Cheese with Tomato and Basil

"This is an excellent side dish for a juicy steak or other hearty meal."

Ingredients:
2 cups macaroni
2 cups grated tasty cheese
1 cup grated swiss cheese
1 cup thickened cream
2 eggs
1 tablespoon butter
salt and pepper
1 cup fresh breadcrumb
2 tomatoes, sliced
basil leaves
1/2 cup grated cheese

Directions:
1. Cook the macaroni until done and drain.

2. Combine cheeses,salt,pepper,cream and eggs in a bowl.

3. Stir in macaroni and spread half of this mixture in a greased casserole dish.

4. Arrange tomato slices and basil over this layer and top with remaining macaroni.

5. Melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the breadcrumbs gently until golden.

6. Combine breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle over the top.

7. Bake at 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes until it's golden on top.
