Alla Checca Pasta Sauce

Submitted by Christine from GA

"This marvelous sauce is the reason you grow your own tomatoes. Dice a few and add minced garlic, fresh basil and the best quality olive oil you can buy. Let the hearty mixture rest at room temperature for a few hours, then toss with hot pasta."

Ingredients:
5 tomatoes, seeded and diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon chopped oregano
