Green Beans with Feta Cheese

Harriett A wonderful Greek style side dish that can be served hot or at room temperature.

4 Ingredients:
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 cup onions, diced
1 (28oz) can chopped tomatoes
1 can sliced black olive
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2 (10oz) boxes frozen French style green beans, thawed and drained
4-6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
Directions:
1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil for a minute- be careful not to burn.
2. Add tomatoes, olives and oregano and simmer for about 5-8 minutes.
3. Add green beans and simmer for another 5 minutes.
4. Just before serving sprinkle feta cheese on top.
5. These are delicious hot or cold.
